Kerry Ecological News came about to meet the growing demand for information about green issues on a local scale. While there are several excellent websites/publications covering green issues already available, they are all nationally produced not locally based. This is fine for a good informative read but if you need to find out where your nearest organic box scheme is or where your nearest supplier of wood pellet boilers are then national publications aren’t much use.
Kerry really needs information about where to shop locally for all these ‘green’ goods.

Another reason for the inspiration behind the ‘Kerry Ecological News’is Kerry itself. What is special about the Kingdom of Kerry, is it’s treasures.Those treasures are the beauty spots and breath taking scenery.Many businesses here depend on tourists coming to see these treasures.However, if we are not careful, we will end up spoiling this kingdom.Promoting Eco-Tourism is the best way forward to ensure future generations of visitors enjoy this special place.
